Planning a trip to coronado springs soon and there are no village preferred rooms avaliable that I can find. There are village preferred location rooms (different from preferred room, which say closer to el centro) do we know where & the difference?

    Hello, Makenzie!

I am so glad you stopped by planDisney with this question. Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is one of my favorite hotels at Walt Disney World. The vibes, dining options, and pools are all practically perfect. I could go on for quite a bit about all the things that make this resort amazing, so let's just jump right in to room locations!

Preferred rooms are located in buildings 1, 2, and 3 of the Casitas. This means they are super close to El Centro and the main dining locations, bus stop one, and the heart of the resort. I spoke with a friendly Cast Member who informed me that Preferred Rooms and Preferred Location Rooms are essentially the same category. Prior to this year, the rooms were referred to as Preferred Rooms, but going forward, they are booked as Preferred Location. The Cast Member confirmed that if you book a Preferred Location Room, you will still be in buildings 1, 2, or 3 of the Casitas. I hope this helps!

During your stay, I highly recommend setting aside an evening to eat at Three Bridges Bar & Grill. This spot is a must every time I visit the resort. The Trio of Dips is a standout option, and the Mahi Mahi was cooked to perfection. This location is also open late, making it a great spot for a delicious meal after closing down the parks.

    See ya real soon!
