Hi! Planning a trip for Christmas 2012!! Just wondering, I know this isnt why you goto to Disney *lol* but which of the moderate resorts would have the "best" decorations? I have seem the deluxe ones, but w/o the free DP or a room discount, they

Oh what fun it is to... answer this question, Laura! There is one moderate resort that stands out amongst its peers when it comes to Christmastime. It's totally the Cabins at Fort Wilderness.

Fort Wilderness itself is unfathomably festive around the holidays. People go ALL OUT to decorate their campsites. You could spend a whole day touring the resort and people's decorations. No joke.

In addition to that, Pioneer Hall and the surrounding area are handsomely decorated as well. Nearby, you can enjoy a horse drawn sleigh ride. If you're interested in the holiday sleigh ride, it departs every 30 minutes in the evening. If you're a planner like me, you can book the experience up to 180 days in advance by calling (407) WDW-PLAY.
