We are planning a trip for Christmas of 2010 We have three children (13. 8, &4). Two of them still believe in Santa. Any suggestions on how to do Santa presents? We are planning to fly.

    Hi Ross,

I can't think of a more magical place to celebrate Christmas than at Disney.  The parks and resorts are decked out in a sea of lights and holiday whimsy that could elicit a smile from Ebenezer Scrooge himself!  If you are concerned about bringing presents along with you for your Christmas morning celebration, you could certainly ship a box (or two) to be waiting for your family when you check in.  This way, you could avoid incurring additional luggage fees. We often send down items that we need ahead of time to avoid luggage surcharges.  The front desk can help you make arrangements to ship any items back home that you are not able to carry with you.

In addition, you can work with the Disney florist ( to have a special holiday arrangement and/or decorations set up in your room.  The florist has amazing holiday displays that change each year, including beautiful hotel room-sized trees.

As you can guess, the parks and resorts are very crowded at Christmas time, so ensure that you make your dining reservations as close as possible to 180 days before your arrival.

    Have a wonderful Disney Christmas!
