    We are planning a trip for Christmas of 2011. We have reservations for The Yacht Club. Are there holiday hours for StormAlong Bay and if so, would you know what they are?

    Hi, Angela!

    Congratulations on your Christmas vacation to Walt Disney World! That's one of my favorite places to spend the holidays, and The Yacht & Beach Club is of my first choices for a resort. You just can't beat Stormalong Bay -- it's like a mini-waterpark!

    There are seasonal hours for Stormalong Bay which usually align somewhat with daylight hours. Therefore, since winter means shorter days, you can count on Stormalong Bay to close earlier in the day than in the summer. There aren't any published hours for resort pools as far out as December, but I can guess for you based on my experience that the pool will probably open around 9-10 a.m. and close as early as 6-7 p.m. I hope that at least helps you plan your vacation time when you're there.
