Hi, we are planning our trip for Christmas and I have a party or 8 people, 7 adults and 1 child. What resort would you suggest for us and preferrably one with kitchen for a Christmas dinner?

    Hi Jessica,

I have the perfect resort to suggest for your traveling party - The Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge!  I visited there this past Christmas season and it is, in my opinion, the most beautifully decorated Disney resort at Christmas time.  It is a resort of jaw-dropping beauty at any time of year, but somehow they make it even more gorgeous and festive around the holidays.

The category of room you should ask for is a dedicated two bedroom villa.  This type of room has a king size bed in the master bedroom, two queen size beds in the second bedroom, and a queen size pull-out bed in the room in between the other two bedrooms.  I've stayed in a room like this when traveling with a party of seven and we were amazed at how much space we had to spread out.  Additionally, you will enjoy two full bathrooms, a well-equipped full kitchen, and your own washer/driver.  I can't imagine a more magical place to prepare and enjoy a memorable Christmas dinner.  If you don't have your own car, you can even have the groceries you need delivered right to your resort by contacting Garden Grocer before your arrival.  It doesn't get much easier than that.

Have fun planning your magical Christmas getaway to Walt Disney World!
