Planning a trip over Christmas and not staying on property. I am wondering if we leave so the kids can rest, will we have to pay for parking again if we go back? Thank you.

    Hi Tricia!

I'm happy to help you plan your holiday vacation to Walt Disney World Resort! There are so many magical things to enjoy in each of the theme parks and they each become more magical during the holiday season. I'm glad to hear that you are thinking about adding some rest time into your itinerary. With my family, I have definitely found that it helps if the little ones (and the big ones...) can get a rest or a nap during the day because everyone will have plenty of energy to enjoy the nighttime entertainment in the theme parks!

When you park at the theme parks, you will have the option for either standard or preferred parking. Regardless of the type of parking you choose, your parking fee includes parking for the entire day at all four theme parks. You are welcome to leave a parking lot and re-enter either the same parking lot or a different theme park lot using your parking receipt so you won't be charged a second time. This is perfect for families who will be enjoying Disney Springs, park hopping between theme parks or for a quick trip back to your vacation "home" to take a rest!

Be sure to follow the Disney Parks Blog as you continue planning your vacation so you can get additional information about all of the holiday magic you will be able to enjoy during your trip. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
