We are planning a trip for Christmas and we have heard conflicting information about crowd size. Has anyone visited at this time that could tell us about their experience. What is the weather typically like at Christmas.

    Hello Debra,
Christmastime and Disney are 2 of my most favourite things ever and I've been super lucky enough to have spent Christmas with my dear family at Walt Disney World Resort!
As you may imagine, many families just like yours and mine have a Christmas wish to be right in the middle of the magic over the Holidays which is why traditionally crowd numbers can swell in December.
I'm happy to share with you that my family and I chose to spend most of December 25th within the Magic Kingdom Park and although crowds were busy, they didn't interfere with our special day at all.
My top tips for tackling a Disney-style Christmas Day is to be sure to secure FastPass+ selections via My Disney Experience at either 60 days ahead of arrival for those Guests staying in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, or 30 days ahead of arrival for Guests staying offsite.  Also, if like my family you wish to sit down to a Table Service Christmas meal then I highly recommend making Advanced Dining Reservations up to 180 days in advance; last Christmas we enjoyed a delicious traditional, family style meal at the Whispering Canyon Cafe
Now as for the Florida weather in December... Remember that I'm the current UK Mum on the Panel, so I still find it rather warmer and humid than I'm used to here at home! However, traditionally is it much cooler and has much less humidity than in the summer hot months. I would say to wear clothes in layers to stay comfortable all day long.
    Have a great Disney day.
