I am planning a trip with my children (14 and 17) to disney. We want to leave the day after Christmas and stay thru New Years. I am looking for hotels on Disney property...easy access to and from parks. I am open to anything.

This is a very busy time at Walt Disney World so be sure and try to get your resort reservations as soon as possible!

For easy access to parks you will want to look at the deluxe resorts.  There are three resorts on the monorail system that will enable you to get to the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT parks easily. Those are: Grand Floridian, Polynesian, and Contemporary resorts.  You will also find Boardwalk, Yacht Club, and Beach Club resorts to have easy access to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios.  Easy access in my words is the ability to get to and from a theme park without taking the Disney bus transportation.  You have boats, monorails, or walking paths available to resort guests to reach the park destinations.

All of the above deluxe resorts are wonderful and beautiful.  All have extensive pools and recreation possibilities and rooms are pretty comparable.  It just depends on what parks you want access to for making your decision on what resort would be best for you and your family.
