Planning another trip - Carribbean Beach or Wilderness Lodge? I'm so confused! Love WL but we may be looking for something a little cheaper in early 2013. Worried about the size and location (kids 8 & 5) of the CBR. Any advice would be great!

    Hi Kristen!

I am a huge fan of both of these fabulous Walt Disney World Resorts!  I want to assure you that you will find the rooms at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort just as roomy as those at the Wilderness Lodge, unless you were booking a Disney Vacation Club Villa at the WL.  Those rooms are available with extra room, if you book a one or two bedroom villa.

The pool at the Caribbean Beach Resort is one our kids' favorites, with its slide and "Spanish Fortress" theme - perfect for playful pirate pretending!

One thing you will notice as different is that you enter your from from an outdoor balcony at CBR, rather than an indoor hallway, as you do at the Wilderness Lodge.

As for location, Disney's complimentary transportation makes each of the Resorts convenient.  Disney's CBR is closest to Hollywood Studios, EPCOT, and Downtown Disney, whereas Wilderness Lodge is closest to the Magic Kingdom.

We have always enjoyed our stays at BOTH of these resorts, and I know you will, too!  Have a magical time!
