Planning a trip w/ 2 boys 6&5. What Moderate hotel is your fav.We have stayed at pop before but thinking of staying someplace a little better,

    Carmen:

I've stayed at Coronado Springs and Port Orleans: Riverside.  I've toured Caribbean Beach Resort and am staying at the French Quarter in September....

Although I love the food court and upscale feel of Coronado Springs, if you're wanting an experience that's best for your two boys, I'd consider either Port Orleans: Riverside or Caribbean Beach Resort.

Port Orleans: French Quarter and the Magnolia Bend section of Port Orleans: Riverside lean to a more romantic feel in my opinion.  But Riverside's Alligator Bayou and its rustic interiors and moss-covered trees makes me think of Huck Finn and little boy's mischief!  My boys still talk about the resort and its pool slide.  What makes the resort appeal to me is the boat to Downtown Disney.  You might even want to look into its Pirates Cruise.

CBR sports Pirate rooms now, complete with carpet that looks like the plank-flooring of a ship!  The upgrade price for the room is well-worth the preferred location near the food court and pool with its water-play station.  If you're coming in the warmer months, it would be a solid choice.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Whitney, Mississippi

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
