Aloha Diem, thanks for visiting planDisney and Welcome Home! I’m so excited for you to visit
Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, it’s my family's favorite
Disney Vacation Club Resort for so many reasons. We had the most incredible vacation at Aulani Resort exactly a year ago, and we can’t wait until we can return to the beautiful beaches of the Ko Olina lagoon. We enjoyed splashing in the
Waikolohe Valley pool area, meeting
Characters at various places around the Resort, searching for the mischievous Menehune on the
Menehune Adventure Trail, learning to play the ukulele and so much more!
My family has a hard time saying goodbye after a memorable vacation but all good things must come to an end. Departure plans sometimes need to be juggled but, Diem, I have great news, Aulani Resort has you covered! If you have a late departure, you can make the most out of your last day in Paradise and have a place to freshen up for your flight(s). Before heading to the airport, you can access the Luana Lounge which is only available to Guests on their check-out day. The Luana Lounge can be booked for a duration of one hour and the reservation needs to be completed in person at the
Front Desk. The lounge has showers, towels, toiletries, lockers, comfortable seating areas, a TV, and even a printer if you need a paper copy of your boarding pass(es). If you choose to float on the
Waikolohe Stream one last time, you can use the lounge's bathing suit spinner so you aren't traveling with a wet bathing suit in your luggage.
If you need a bit more rest or somewhere calm to go when you arrive at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport, you can relax at the Ko'Olina Club Lounge which is exclusively for guests of the Ko'Olina resorts. I was very happy to have a quiet and relaxing place for my family to enjoy before heading back to Canada. Guests of Aulani can remain in the lounge for up to 2 hours either before or after their flight (a complimentary reservation is required). This lounge has wifi, charging stations, plenty of comfy seating, coloring activities for little ones as well as soft drinks and small snacks that are available for purchase.
I hope this helps you, Diem! If you have any further Aulani Resort questions, please swing by our
planDisney ‘ohana and ask me
here.
A Hui Hou, (this means until we see each other again in Hawaiian)
