We are planning our 2nd trip this August 2014. 2 years ago we stayed at the Art of Animation resort, this time we want a change. We have been checking reviews for All Music Resort but the reviews are so so, any thoughts or advice? We want a WDW resort.

    Hi there, Danielle!

I'm so glad to hear that your family has experienced a stay in Disney's Art of Animation Resort! I just love all of the theming there and how the beloved Characters from some of my favorite Disney movies are larger than life!

I find that sometimes reading reviews is tough. See, I'm the type of person that really likes to experience things, even if people have written so-so reviews on that particular restaurant or hotel. Our family might absolutely love something that another family didn't enjoy at all, so I don't like to take the chance of missing something super cool. I'll also say that I always look at the good in everything we do, so I tend to focus on that! It tends to make the experience much more enjoyable as a whole.

So, with that being said, Disney's All-Star Music Resort was the first Resort in the "Value" category that my family ever experienced, so it holds a special place in my heart. My kiddos have been very musically inclined since they were pretty little and seeing the GIANT musical instruments everywhere as we walked through the Resort grounds was such a treat for them. The grand piano and guitar-shaped pools were favorites too!

I have been fortunate enough to have stayed in most of the Resorts in the Deluxe category, and, of course, there's no comparison. The towels aren't quite as plush and luxurious at the Value Resorts and the rooms aren't quite as roomy. But, if you are not too worried about living in the lap of luxury and you're looking to save some money and still stay right in the middle of the magic, I think you'll be real happy.

I hope this helps with your decision, Danielle! Please let us know if we can help with any other questions you have.

Wishing you and your family a Pixie Dusted vacation!
