Welcome back to planDisney, Mary Beth!
We’re so happy to hear from you again, and hope that you’re getting excited for your trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth next month! Don’t forget to pack some rain gear, as we often experience thunderstorms with rain in the afternoons here in Florida. My theme park bag must-haves are: A small umbrella. A rain poncho or rain jacket. All-rubber shoes. And, if I have room, a simple change of pants.
I am so thrilled that you’re wanting to see the parades while you visit Mary Beth! Be sure to catch
Disney Starlight! I cannot wait to see this for myself! While you’re waiting to watch the parades on Main Street (my favorite place to watch, by the way), you should pop into
Main Street Confectionery to get some treats for the show! My favorite treat is the caramel apple, for sure!
As I am writing this, we currently can only see parade times until August 2, 2025 on the Disney World website. That does not mean that there will not be parades scheduled in August, it just means that the Disney crew hasn’t updated the schedule yet. While there will not be a nighttime parade at Magic Kingdom on nights that Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is happening, there should be plenty of opportunities for you to enjoy Festival of Fantasy and Disney Starlight during your trip. Keep your eye on the Disney Starlight page and the
Festival of Fantasy page as those dates and times should populate the calendar soon.
I hope you have a marvelously magical trip, Mary Beth. If you have any additional questions before your trip, you know where to find us!
Have a great, big, beautiful tomorrow!
