Hello! I am planning a trip in august to WDW for 4 adults and I am debating on where to stay. In your opinion which is the best moderate resort to stay at? (best food, location, and least amount of children at all possible) This site is awesome! Thank you!

For a party of all adults, I would recommend the Coronado Springs Resort. While every resort in WDW welcomes children, this resort seems to be the most adult-oriented moderate hotel.

    Here’s why -

The 15-acre lake, Lago Dorado, can be enjoyed via marina boat rentals or when leisurely strolling the esplanade.  The resort pool is large with a poolside bar and the largest hot tub on WDW property nearby. The 3 quiet pools offer a nice respite from the busier Dig Site pool. The outdoor Laguna bar overlooking the lake is a really nice play to hang out on a warm evening. The Moms Panel enjoyed drinks here a few times during our December training.

There is a convention center that brings in business people (thus many adults without families in tow).

It’s an expansive resort so no matter where your room is located, you won’t feel as if you are overcrowded. The American Southwest theme is nicely done throughout the resort’s amenities.

There is a health club with a fitness center and a salon that includes manicure, pedicure and facial services. This is the only moderate resort to offer these facilities.

The Pepper Market food court is more adult-oriented. You are seated by a host, visit food stations and pay when you exit. You’ll find cappuccino and espresso offerings, as well as a margarita and beer counter.

The full service Maya Grill restaurant is a great place for adults to unwind and enjoy a delicious meal. For night time entertainment, the new Rix Lounge, offers music and specialty drinks.
