I am planning a trip for August 2019. When can I start book a vacation package and also will the star war land be open?

    Greetings Elizabeth!
I love that you're planning your trip to the Happiest Place on Earth way in advance!
The Disneyland Resort is a wonderful place to visit, especially if you take into consideration the history behind the Disneyland Park-- Walt Disney's original theme park, which opened its doors in 1955!
Currently, you're able to book a vacation package for the Disneyland Resort through the 31st of December of the current year or up to a year in advance once the travel packages for the following year are published, which is usually in the summer.
In other words, if you call early in the year, you can only book a vacation package through the end of the current year. If you call in the summer, you can generally book a vacation a year from that date.
As far as the new Star Wars-Themed Land... aren't you sooooo excited!? I know I am!
Disney made an announcement recently where it was mentioned that the opening would be in 2019 but there were no specific dates or months.
Make sure you check out the Disney Parks Blog for important updates on this out-of-world experience!
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel and have a Magical day!
