I am a planning a trip for august and our party contains 3 people but we only want one room. I was wondering which hotels have roll-aways and how much it is for a roll-away.

Hi Abigail! This question is actually one that can be answered from resort to resort and is best answered by calling direct. Rollaway beds or cots cannot be added to rooms to exceed the maximum number of guests due to fire regulations. This would not be the case for you as all rooms sleep four or more at Disney.

Some resorts have day beds such as the Yacht, Beach and Contemporary. These are fairly comfortable for an adult. Other resorts offer trundle style type beds such as Port Orleans but these are sized more for children.  Finally other rooms include sleeper sofas or chairs such as the Value suites, DVC Villas and the Cabins in Fort Wilderness.

Once you choose a resort and confirm that they will allow a rollaway you will need to understand that it is put down as a request on your reservation but it cannot be guaranteed. Your best bet would be to choose a resort and room that has the third bedding option in it. We have stayed at the Yacht, Beach and Contemporary and love the size of the rooms to accommodate three adults.  We also have enjoyed many fun vacations at Fort Wilderness in the cabins for a lower cost.  The bedroom has bunk beds and a double bed and the living area has a pull down murphy bed. The bunks are ok but if you have tall or large adults they probably would not be too comfortable in these.

You can get more information on the different rooms and sleeping options by going to the Disney website, www.disneyworld.com, and looking through the resorts under their accommodation and room category. If you narrow down some choices we can certainly check on their current rollaway policy for you.
