Hi Brittney,
Thank you for stopping by planDisney with a question!
Hooray! It looks like you are planning a visit to the Walt Disney World® Resort. You can check the details of any
Special Offer as you make your plans. For future reference, the Special Offer link is located at bottom of the Walt Disney World® Resort homepage. According to the details of the offer for Disney+ subscribers, that offer is available for
arrivals on select nights between July 1st to September 30th. Packages need to be booked by February 14th. To check availability for the Special Offer for the dates you would like to visit, you will need to
sign-in with your Disney+ email.
Although we are
Disney Vacation Club members, I still check the Special Offers to see possibilities for other family and friends. Since it looks like you only have a few days to reserve your vacation package, let me offer a few additional suggestions. The current package for Disney+ subscribers requires the inclusion of tickets with the Park Hopper option. So, I suggest that you actually do some comparison pricing. You may only need standard tickets - when our girls were younger, we typically only did one park per day because we did not want to exhaust them and face a meltdown.
Here is my suggestion - price a vacation package with
standard theme park tickets, with and without a
Disney Dining Plan and then compare that to the price of a vacation package using the Special Offer for Disney+ subscribers. We also take the extra step to sit down as a family and pick the restaurants we want to visit. Then one of my girls helps me estimate the total cost for dining if we were to pay for it separately, keeping in mind that drinks are not included at all meals when paying separately. My family loves the
Disney Dining Plan that includes one Quick-Service and one Table-Service meal per night of stay.
As you consider options, remember that your meals are calculated per night of stay. So, I also calculate the total number of meals we will get on the dining plan and then check each restaurant we want to visit to see how many "meals" we will use for a particular meal period. For example, we love Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in EPCOT. Just go to the
restaurant's webpage and click on View Dining Plans and Discounts. When I just checked Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, I saw that a Disney Dining Plan would use one meal per person for breakfast but two for lunch or dinner in 2024.
Once you book your trip, make note of your
advanced dining reservation window and when that dining reservation day arrives, start making those reservations.
Brittney, I hope this helps! You have some homework to do but I think it's fun homework! Please do stop back by if you have more questions.
Magic and memories,
Donyell
