Planning a trip for August. Were military and are gonna take advantage of the 4 day pass. We really need some suggestions of a mildy priced nice place to stay that may do breakfast and transportation,Kids first time want $ to spend on them not all on hotel

Are you familiar with the Shades of Green Resort, Sam?  Technically, it's a department of defense recreation area, but between you and me, it's a pretty great value for military families looking for a nice place to stay on Disney property.  It boats on-site restaurants, spacious rooms, and proximity to Magic Kingdom.  My family has had the pleasure of staying there twice and both times have been great.  Googling the term "shades of green" should pull it up for you.  You might check on eligibility and availability!

If you're leaning towards a Disney hotel, I'd suggest the Caribbean Beach Resort.  As one of Disney's moderate resorts, it offers a themed experience at a reasonable price.  Kids are head over heels for the themed pirate rooms they have there, too!  Happy planning!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
