We are planning a trip for August 2025 to Disneyland and would like to know the peak days for planning and budgeting.

Welcome to planDisney, Susan! Oh boy! I'm so thrilled you have a visit to the Happiest Place on Earth on your mind! It's usually what I have on my mind, too. Disneyland has been such a magical place for me and my family, where troubles seem far away, so I'm honored to be a part of helping you plan a visit maximizing the magic.

We're Disney Guests, just like you, who provide helpful tips and heartfelt advice, as well as share our experiences to help you have a magical Disney vacation! And, like you, want to get the most out of our Disney vacations and budgets!

According to the Disneyland website, a 1-day ticket price ranges based on the date selected, which is easily viewed on the calendar. As for the 2-day, 3-day, 4-day, and 5-day theme park tickets, these are a set price per day, no matter the dates selected.

My family most often goes with a 3-day theme park ticket, as it's a great value. In three park days, Susan, you'll likely be able to experience nearly everything Disneyland Resort has to offer, check off top priorities for everyone in your group, have time for good-sized breaks during the day, as well as take in the magic of the Happiest Place on Earth, which is what makes it so special.

If you're looking to maximize the magic, Susan, (and aren't we all!) you'll definitely want to keep your eye on the Special Offers, Deals & Discounts page on the Disneyland website for current special ticket offers. And, actually Susan, there is an incredible Disneyland Anniversary Ticket Offer available for Guests visiting the parks through August 14, 2025, that you may want to check out and see if it might work for your upcoming trip.

You'll be immersed in the magic and wonder of Disneyland Resort in no time, Susan, and during an amazing moment in history for its 70th Celebration! Disney went all out for this party of the decade! I'm especially blown away by the entertainment offerings, like the Muppets Pre-Show right before World of Color Happiness! It's delightful. The parks during the 70th Celebration are just so sparkly right now - I'm so excited for you to experience it!

Well, I hope this has been helpful for you in your planning, Susan, and that you have the most magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth. If you have any other questions or would like some additional tips or recommendations, like ways to maximize the magic while you're at Disneyland Resort or strategies to make sure you hit all your top priorities, don't hesitate to reach out again anytime!

    Warmest wishes,
    McCayla

Hello from the Pacific Northwest! I'm McCayla, a wife and mom dreaming of adventure in the great wide somewhere, yet also completely content watching Toy Story from the couch. My love of Disneyland began as a little girl on Peter Pan's Flight and only grows with each visit. But even when I'm not physically at the Happiest Place on Earth, I truly feel that same joy when I can help others (YOU!) experience the magic of Disneyland Resort too.
