Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kim!
We are happy to continue to help you plan a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation! As an international Guest myself, I also prefer to plan my visits in advance and take my time to select the perfect Disney Resort hotel.
My fellow panelist Andres has already provided you with a great list of deluxe studios that can accommodate you party of five. Considering that you are visiting in the summer and traveling with a teenager and two kids, I highly recommend
Disney’s Beach Club Villas and
Disney’s Polynesian Villas and Bungalows. In my opinion, their location and recreation and dining options make them unique destinations. By staying at Disney’s Polynesian Villas and Bungalows you will be in the middle of stunning nature while enjoying convenient access to Magic Kingdom Park by
monorail. At this amazing destination you will also be able to enjoy Disney’s Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show, the popular Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto, and dining destinations like ‘Ohana and Kona Cafe.
Disney’s Beach Club Villas is located in the EPCOT area, which means you will be within walking distance to this iconic park and just a short boat ride from Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The best part about staying in this location is having access to Stormalong Bay, an amazing 3-acre water wonderland featuring the highest hotel waterslide at the Walt Disney World Resort, a lazy river, a main pool with a sand beach, whirlpool spas and more. This is my 9-year-old’s favorite destination and it is always hard to convince her to go to the theme parks because she prefers to enjoy Stormalong Bay. The
dining destinations are also amongst some of our favorites, not to mention the added bonus of being close to the charm of
Disney’s BoardWalk.
If you are looking for more options that can accommodate your family besides deluxe studios, I suggest checking out the Family Suites at
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort and
The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. You may even consider a split stay and this way split your vacation between two different destinations. What I love about split stays is that you get to experience the magic of more than one location, and you don’t even have to worry about your luggage because Disney takes care of moving it from one hotel to the next.
Thank you for stopping by once again, Kim. I hope this helps you while planning and that you come back to visit us real soon with more questions.
Best magical wishes,
Thiana
