Mickey makes it easy for Guests to find out if a newly announced offer can be applied to an existing reservation. As The Mandalorian would say, “This is the way.” You’ll start at the
Disney World Special Offers page on the Disney World website. Once you identify the special offer, click “View Details.” When the details page appears on your screen, click in the box that states, “Have an Existing Reservation? See if you can apply this special offer to your reservation.”
Jeffrey, I’ve had success just about every time I’ve followed those steps. I can usually get the discount applied to my existing reservation. I can recall one time when I couldn’t apply the discount. In that case, I canceled my existing reservation and booked a new one to take advantage of the special offer.
August, especially later in the month, is a great time to visit! With many schools beginning to go back into session, the summertime crowds begin to dwindle. Also, we’re keeping a close eye on the Disney World website and
Disney Parks Blog for some potential openings of new attractions in 2027, with all attention turned to Disney’s Animal Kingdom! While opening dates haven’t been announced, there is optimism about the new Encanto (
Antonio’s Fiesta de Encanto) and Indiana Jones (
Indiana Jones and the Myth of the Jade Serpent) attractions opening sometime in 2027!
