    Hi we are planning a trip in Aug. 2016 I am wondering do we have to check into the hotel before we can head to the parks. We plan to get to the area early morning on day of check in and would like to get a full day at the park if we can.

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so happy for you. August will be here before you know it! Let the countdown begin.

    You are free to head to the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks as soon as you arrive at the Resort. You do not need to check-in to be able to visit the theme parks, but you can do so if you would like to. You can check-in as early as 6:00 a.m., although your room is not guaranteed to be ready until after 3:00 p.m. If you wish to do so, you may leave your bags will Bell Services.

    Mom's Quick Tip: You can also provide the friendly Front Desk Cast Members with your cell phone number for updates on the status of your room. Once your room is ready, you will receive a text. It is that simple!
