Hello. We are planning a trip for Aug. 2009 at POFQ. We have a 4yr. old and an 8yr. old. Is this a good choice or is a value resort better? We are also concerned about a long bus ride. Thanks. You guys are great.

Port Orleans French Quarter (POFQ) is an excellent choice for your family. It is a charming resort that has one bus stop. Bus stops at the value resorts are not covered and are usually longer walks from your resort room as well as from the theme park exit to the bus pick up location.

This moderate resort provides a nice food court, arcade, playground and a pool that fascinates young children. Your older child may find the pool slide a bit "lame" but your younger child may find sliding down the serpent's tongue a lot of fun.

After a long day at the parks, a small resort like POFQ is a great fit for families with young children.
