We are planning a trip around Thanksgiving. Will the pools be warm enough to swim in at that time?

    Hi Amanda,

Mid- to late November is a terrific time to visit Walt Disney World, when the parks and resorts are sporting their holiday finery. Generally, the weather is mild at that time with highs averaging in the upper 70s and lows in the mid- to upper 50s. It can take a cold turn; last year, we were at Walt Disney World for Thanksgiving week and the temp unexpectedly dropped into the 30s for a night or two. But that was unusual.

The good news is that the pools at Walt Disney World are heated to 82 degrees year-round. So even if the outside temperature turns cool, the water should be just right.

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. Please let me know if I can do anything else to help as you make your plans.

    Enjoy!
