Planning a trip for April/May 2015 (4 adults). Want a room with a kitchen. Currently stuck deciding btwn AK Jambo 1 bdrm villa, FW cabin, and WL 1 bdrm villa. Know any perks of those, walking distance, suggested buildings, buses, etc?

    Hi Ivy,

I have stayed in all of the accommodations that you are considering. They do all include a full kitchen. Let me offer you some other thoughts on each.

At Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Jambo House, I love the rich decor, and the ability to see exotic animals outside of nearly every window is amazing. A one-bedroom villa here has a king-size bed, queen-size sleeper sofa, and most will have a sleeper chair. There is one bathroom. I would suggest that you look into Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village, which has the same sleeping arrangements, but also a second bathroom. Transportation to all locations around Walt Disney World is by bus.

The Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge are also beautiful, and set with a theme of 1800's railroad hotels from the American West. Here you will find that the one-bedroom villas offer one king-size bed and a queen-size sleeper sofa. They have one bathroom. Transportation to Magic Kingdom Park will be by boat, and to all other Walt Disney World locations is by bus.

I enjoy a stay at the cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. This resort offers a wide variety of activities, from archery to horseback riding. The cabins offer a double bed and set of bunk beds in the bedroom, and a Murphy bed which I believe is about a double-size in the living room. There is one bathroom. Each cabin comes with a charcoal grill outside. As with The Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, you can reach Magic Kingdom Park by boat and all other areas at Walt Disney World by bus.

I think that I would try for Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village. I think that the second bathroom will be good for a group of four adults, and the sleeping arrangements offer the most space. Of course, you should choose what you think will be best for you traveling party!

I am limited in the amount of space that I have to answer, Ivy. Please do write back if you have any further questions!
