Hi there! Planning a trip for this April for my sons 3rd birthday, he will be under 3 at check in, but will turn 3 on our trip. Do we need to purchase them park tickets for once he turns 3 or is he considered under 3 for the duration of our trip?

Offering a warm welcome to you, Erika!

We're so glad that you found your way to planDisney!

I'm happy to report that your son will be considered a "Guest of Mickey" for the duration of your trip! Because he will be 2 years old upon check-in, he will be granted all of the magical benefits of being 2 on your trip!

If you're staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, stop by the front desk to get a Happy Birthday Button for your little one to wear during the duration of your stay! You never know what pixie dust will come his way. (You can also get these buttons at Guest Relations or Gift Shops within the theme parks.)

If you have any additional questions in these months leading up to your trip, we would love to hear from you again at planDisney
