Planning trip April 15-22 2015. When making dining reservations, while on the Disney dining plan, how do I book dinners without being charged on my credit card?

    Hi, Becky!

When making Advanced Dining Reservations, you do need to provide valid credit card information. Your card is not charged, nor does it have to be the form of payment that you use while dining at the restaurants. You will be able to use your Disney Dining Plan credits to purchase your meals. The card is simply kept on file to hold your reservation. If you decide to cancel your reservation, be sure to do so at least 24 hours before your reserved time and there would be no charge to your card. However, if you cancel less than 24 hours in advance or if you do not arrive for your reservation, there is a $10 per person fee. This applies to all guests making Advanced Dining Reservations whether or not they are using the Disney Dining Plan.

Have a tasty vacation, Becky! Wishing you and your family a magical time.

Meet the Panelist: Rachel, Wisconsin

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
