Welcome to planDisney, Chrissy!
A first trip to
Walt Disney World? How magical!
Not to worry; we here at planDisney have you covered. Ask as many questions as you'd like!
My first suggestion is to plan your park days, then consider dining options. These are the most timely decisions to make--after you've selected your resort hotel.
Each of the four theme parks feature unique experiences, any of which may become a must-do for your group. Favorite characters? Plan around a character meal, character greetings, or an attraction that centers on those characters. Foodies in your group? There are some fabulous dining options that could shape how you tour on any given day. Thrill-seekers? Plan your day to squeeze in all of the adrenaline-inducing attractions you can find.
With unique experiences during your April visit, you might want to look into
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. Boasting the most lovely topiaries and floral displays, this festival also features a concert series and special small plate offerings you won't find at any other time of the year. It's one of my favorites!
The weather in April is usually lovely, too, with days often in the 80s and nights in the 60s. For us, that means that we'll get onto a refreshing water-featuring ride such as
Tiana's Bayou Adventure in
Magic Kingdom Park or
Kali River Rapids in
Animal Kingdom Theme Park midday. After that, it's all about some additional attractions, dinner and nighttime extravaganzas such as
Happily Ever After in Magic Kingdom or
Luminous The Symphony of Us at EPCOT.
Chrissy, go ahead and send us your thoughts on your upcoming visit. We can help you pack the most pixie dust into each day--it's what we love to do!
