Mom and Daughter at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Room

    We are planning a trip in April 2013 with our daughter, son-in-law and 3 year old granddaughter (her birthday). We plan to be there on the 20th for 7 days. Do you know if this is a good time of year as far as crowds?

    Hi Sheila!!

    This appears to be a wonderful time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort!!!  It is about three weeks after Easter, so the Spring Break/Easter crowds should have definitely eased up.  You will find the weather to be very beautiful with highs in the upper 80's/low 90's and very little humidity (unlike the summer months.)  I think that you will be pleasantly surprised at both the crowd levels and weather!!!

    Please feel free to send me any direct questions about things to do with your three year old granddaughter as we have taken our son many times and he is about to turn four!!  I have lots of experience with taking young children!!!
