Hello Sharon!Congratulations on your upcoming vacation. Staying 12 nights you are sure to be brimming with Pixie Dust by the end of your trip!Without knowing your family demographics (number of kids, ages, etc...) I hesitate to outright recommend one resort over the other since I love them both. I will list the main advantages for each resort first:Port Orleans French Quarter
Art of Animation Little Mermaid Standard Room
If any of the above features (like Ariel!) really appeals to your family then you should go with that one as each family is unique. If given the same situation my family would chose the Port Orleans French Quarter. We really enjoyed the romantic grounds, quick access from our room to the main areas, and the added amenities like renting surrey bikes. I hope this information helps you in planning your Walt Disney World vacation. Please come back with any further vacation planning questions that you have.Blessings,Brenda ºOº
