Planning a trip for April 2105. Is it better to book the room now or wait and book the entire package at once?

    Hi there, April!

My vote is to book your Resort hotel room as soon as you've decided which one you're going to stay in and picked your dates. You can make Resort reservations up to 499 days in advance. If a Special Offer becomes available after you've booked, you can always call The Walt Disney Travel Company at 407.939.1936 to upgrade your room-only reservation to a package.

On another very important note and since you're planning so far in advance, you can make Advanced Dining Reservations 180 days in advance at the Walt Disney World restaurants. If you're wanting to dine at some of the more popular locations, well, who am I kidding? They're ALL popular! I like to mark the date in my calendar that I'm able to make reservations so I can be sure to have the best chance at getting the times and locations I'm looking for.

Thanks so much for stopping by the Moms Panel, April! I sure hope this helps!

Wishing you a Pixie Dusted vacation!
