Planning a trip to Animal Kingdom next month my concern is my daughters height.Shes 40-41 inches right now and I noticed she wont be able to get on two rides(which is fine) is the website accurate when it comes to the height of the rides at the park?

Hello Fatima!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

My daughter is relatively short. Fortunately, she also shows little interest in many of the attractions at Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks that have height requirements so we have yet to deal with that potential conflict.

The 2 attractions that your daughter will not currently be able to experience at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park are Expedition Everest: - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain (at least 44" tall) and Primeval Whirl (at least 48" tall).

Primeval Whirl may look like a children's ride, but it is a jolting, bone-rattling ride that snaps back and forth a little too much for the safety of shorter guests due to the safety restraints in the car.

Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain is a beautifully themed and exhilarating thrill ride that is very intense. Some younger Guests may find the attraction to fast or scary an experience and due to the nature of the ride, Guests lower than 44" tall are not permitted to ride.

For an intense and enjoyable attraction, your daughter need look no further than DINOSAUR; a prehistoric thrill ride aboard a rip-roaring Time Rover. The height requirement is 40" or taller and I would describe it as a combination of Primeval Whirl and Expedition Everest.

Be sure to book your FastPass+ selections through your My Disney Experience Account to skip the standby queue for DINOSAUR.

    Have a Wild Adventure!
