We are planning a trip with an almost 3 year old and his 5 favorite adults (parents, grandparents and a great aunt). We are trying to decide where to stay with the large group and what kind of rooms to get.

    Hello Julie,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your almost 3-year-old sounds like he’s in for an amazing vacation!

The Rooms for 5 Guests or More page will provide you with a list of Walt Disney World Resort Hotel rooms that can accommodate your family. Because your party includes more adults than kids, I suspect that a One-Bedroom or a Two-Bedroom Villa in a Deluxe Villa Resort Hotel would be perfect for you. Although these rooms can be pricey, we often travel with our extended family or friends and we’ve found that the space and amenities in those rooms just can’t be beat and are often worth the expense.

I would recommend two different Deluxe Villa Resort Hotels for your family: Disney’s Beach Club Villas, due to it’s proximity to Epcot and it’s amazing pool, Stormalong Bay, or Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas - Jambo House, due to its amazing savanna and its furry residents! My son is just a few months younger than yours, and those were probably his two favourite Resorts (and pool areas) in Walt Disney World. I also find that both have dining and recreation options that will be appealing to the adults in your party as well.

Don’t forget, if you're looking for a more economical option, you can also make a request to have connecting rooms in almost every Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. Please note that, while your Resort Hotel will make every effort to honour your request, the availability of connecting rooms is not guaranteed.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and visit us if you have any other questions!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
