Planning a trip with 4 adults, a 3-year old and a 1-year old right after Christmas. Do you think a standard room with bunk bed at Port Orleans Riverside will be too small if we also have a crib? Or should we go with a suite at All Star Music? Thanks!

    Heigh-Ho Trina!

I am a big fan of Disney's Port Orleans Resort-Riverside, but I think with 4 adults, plus 2 children it will be cramped. There are no bunk beds there, but there is a "bunk-sized" pull down bed. I actually have slept on it, and I was pretty comfortable. However adding in a crib (or pack 'n play) and luggage will take up additional wiggle room. You can make it work, especially if you are on a tight budget, but a family suite at Disney's All-Star Music Resort or Disney's Art of Animation Resort will be more comfortable.

One of the biggest reasons I recommend a family suite is 2 bathrooms. You will be thankful for an extra shower and toilet. I also appreciate having a living area with couches and chairs to sit down and relax or even to watch television to unwind. The kitchenette is also great to eat a quick breakfast in the morning before heading to the theme parks to ride all your favorite attractions.

Good luck with your decision. If you have any other questions, please come back and see us real soon at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Have a magical vacation!
