Planning a trip for 7 adults. Some of our time will be spent together but we will likely split up as well. Is it best for them each to have their own linked MDE account? Or can I manage all plans and allow them to log into my account to alter their plans

Hey Howdy Hey Kristin and welcome to planDisney!

Visiting Walt Disney World Resort with friends makes the experience so much more Magical. I am happy to hear you and your friends are planning to visit the most Magical Place on Earth really soon! Thank you for your question about the My Disney Experience account details. I will be happy to give you some advice on navigating these waters.

If everyone in your party are adults with smart devices, I would say it would be easier if everyone had their own My Disney Experience accounts. Once everyone sets them up, you can make bookings and share your plans with all of them. You can even make Lightning Lane reservations with Genie+ or book dining reservations with everyone or only a select few depending on when you will be together or separate. Having separate accounts will make navigating the parks so much easier when you all do decide to split up at times but still offer so much flexibility to make plans together by sharing plans.

There are so many fun things to do and experience as adults in Walt Disney World from the popular festival in EPCOT to resort hopping with Disney Resort Transporation to experience all the lounges, restaurants and scenery of each resort, there is no shortage of things to do! One really fun thing you might want to plan for is a little resort hopping with either the Walt Disney World Monorail or Disney Skyliner system. Both are super convenient ways to get around the resort and are very unique! With the monorail, you will have access to all of the Magic Kingdom Resorts with a wide range of food and drink offerings as well as unique shopping adventures at each resort. The same goes for the Skyliner system flying high above the resort, you can enjoy some spectacular views as you soar from location to location checking out what each resort has to offer. You might want to plan to spend some time at Disney's Riviera Resort on the Skyliner route. Such a beautiful resort with so much to do and see!

Best of luck as you continue to plan for your upcoming trip. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out and let us know, we would be happy to help!

    Have a Magical Day,
