Hi Holly,
Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question! I am happy to help you think about your choice of resort for your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation.
Disney's Art of Animation Resort is fun and whimsical. The larger-than-life icons of many animated movies make this such a happy place. It is a wonderful place for a home base for a Walt Disney World vacation.
As to number of guests in a family suite, the family suites sleep up to six adults. Because your seventh guest is a child under the age of 3 years old, they can be added to the room as well. As to if you would be comfortable, consider
the configuration of the sleeping arrangements in a family suite at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. There is a bedroom with a queen bed, a fold-down table that becomes a double bed, and a sleeper sofa that becomes a double bed. For one of your little ones, you can add a pack 'n' play-type crib to the suite. You will have to think through these and decide if that will work for you. If this does not seem like it will work for you, but you still want to stay at Disney's Art of Animation Resort, you could consider booking two standard rooms. These sleep up to four adult guests, and typically have two double beds.
A final thought for you, if you are looking for more space, is to check out Walt Disney World's
Deluxe Villa resorts. Your party would fit comfortably into a two-bedroom villa at one of these resorts. A two-bedroom villa would offer you a full kitchen, as well as a washer and dryer right in the villa!
I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Holly. Please do let us know if you have any further questions!
