We are planning a trip for 11 adults, one child < 3 and booked a Grand Villa at AKK. We are celebrating first visit for all except for my wife and I, 25th anniversary and a birthday. I am looking for ideas for both group activities and adventures for

    Hi Andrew,

What an amazing trip you have planned!  The grand villas at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge are fit for a king, queen, and their entire royal entourage.  Just wait until you see them!

I have an idea for a fun group adventure.  After a dinner at 'Ohana, head down to the dock behind Disney's Polynesian Resort.  If you call (407) WDW-PLAY in advance of your trip, you can have two pontoon boats waiting there to take your group out onto the Seven Seas Lagoon to see the Wishes Nighttime Spectacular that evening.  There's no better place in the world to see the fireworks above Cinderella Castle than from a boat parked in front of the Magic Kingdom.  I did this with a school group of 18 in June and it was truly the highlight of the trip for all of us.  What a magical evening!

The very end of your question was cut off before it was published.  What other kind of adventures do you seek?  Let us know in a follow-up question and we'll be happy to get back to you with additional ideas.

Wishing you and your wife an extraordinary anniversary celebration!  Congratulations!
