Walt Disney World Resort as a whole gets decked out in festival decorations across the parks, resorts, and Disney Springs. It brings the magic to a whole other level! It’s certainly my favorite time of year to visit.
It’s always best practice to book your resort stay as far in advance as possible once you’ve decided when you’d like to visit. That way, you’re increasing your chances of reserving the room category you want at the resort of your choice. Special Offers are announced throughout the year, and if any offers are coming for the holiday season, we would likely see them closer to that time. However, this is never a guarantee, so only time will tell.
In regard to potential savings being applied to your booking, this will not happen automatically. You can check back on the
Special Offers tab on the Walt Disney World website periodically to see which offers are available. If an offer is available during your travel and applies to your booking, you may be able to apply the savings yourself. Otherwise, a
Cast Member would be more than happy to help you apply any savings available for your booking.

Since you’re visiting during the holiday season, I highly recommend looking into
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom and
Disney Jollywood Nights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. These events are both so much fun and are a great way to celebrate the season.
