We are planning a trip with 6 (2 adults & 4 kids) and we are planning to stay at Art of Animation. Do you know the room numbers in the Cars area that are the closest to the main building?

    Hey Alicia-

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. This is a fantastic question because everyone needs a good night sleep. Last summer my extended family made Disney’s Art of Animation Resort our “home” and it was perfect.

At Disney’s Art of Animation Resort your family can live in the world of Simba, Lightning McQueen, Ariel and Nemo. This is the newest value resort and we loved it. The Big Blue Pool is enormous, fun and adorned with a splash pad for the kids. My sons spent all day at the pool including a splash pad battle. We were in a Lion King Suite where everyone had a bed and a comfortable place to sit and eat. The kitchenette is perfect to store, chill and warm up snacks.

The Cars Suites are just to the right after you pass through Animation Hall (the main lobby). The room numbers that are closest would be in Building 1. There are external stairs at the end of each hallway with the elevators in the center. Rooms 1-14 in the Cars Suites, on any of the four floors, would be closest to the main building.

Disney Dad Tip: Every evening at Walt Disney World Resort hotels there is a Movie by the Pool. If you want to see the movie (schedule will be given in your hotel welcome packet) then get your lounge chairs about 30 minutes before show time.

Alicia, enjoy making many Magical Memories!
