We are planning a trip with 6 adults and 2 children for March 2017. Is there any particular time that month that would be better than others? Also, 2 adults would be staying with the children and 4 adults in the other room-what suites would work best?

    Hi Annette,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!

In spring, crowds at Walt Disney World tend to be heaviest around Easter. Since Easter is in April in 2017, you will be avoiding that time. My guess is that crowds will build throughout March, with the earlier part of the month being the least crowded. It will also be cooler at the beginning of the month, so if the lower crowds and slightly cooler weather are appealing to you, I would suggest that you visit Walt Disney World in early March of 2017.

Given the number of people in your traveling party and the configuration that you mention for the guests staying in each room, you could stay at any Walt Disney World resort hotel and book two rooms. This would give you a wide variety of themes and room prices to choose from.

If you prefer suite-type accommodations, I suggest that you check out the deluxe villa resorts at Walt Disney World. At these resorts, your traveling party could enjoy a two-bedroom villa with amenities such as a full kitchen as well as a washer and dryer right in the villa! Some of the sleeping surfaces for these are typically pull-out sofas or chairs in the living area. By clicking on any of the resorts in the link that I provided, you can choose "Room Rates" to read the configuration in a two-bedroom villa at each resort. A couple of my favorites here include the laid-back Florida Keys theme at Disney's Old Key West Resort, and the sleek and modern feel at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort.

Please do let us know if you have any further questions, Annette!
