Hi there, Leang. Thanks for stopping by with your question. Your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth is nearly here - you must be so excited!
I am happy to report that you'll find ample seating throughout the Disneyland Resort. If anyone in your party wants to sit out on any ride, you can find a bench or table seating nearby. You didn't mention the ages of your kids with your question, and I would caution against leaving young children for a long period by themselves. Though if yours are like mine and have been heading to Disneyland since they were itty bitty Mouseketeers, they may feel more comfortable entertaining themselves. From parades to character meet and greets and beyond, there is so much to do at the Disneyland Resort!
In Disneyland Park, I love the seating near the
Stage Door Cafe and
Jolly Holiday Bakery. Though any of the quick service restaurants would be a good place to wait! Also, don't forget the entertainment options and attractions that aren't rides, like the
Adventureland Treehouse,
Goofy's How-to-Play Yard, the Main Street Cinema, and
Storytelling at Royal Theatre.
In California Adventure, check out the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail, which has some great shaded areas, and San Fransokyo Square, which is at the back entrance of Cars Land and has plenty of great seating areas. Be sure to check out the
Bakery Tour at Boudin's and enjoy some downtime in the
Animation Building. Those are two of my family's favorites!
Before you visit, be sure to check out the
Hours & Events Calendar (on the Disneyland website or the mobile app) for the date of your visit. It's the best way to get a handle on all of the offerings for your visit. There is also the
Play Disney Parks App, which has fun interactions and games throughout the resort. It's perfect for any lines, as my
planDisney pal Tony showed me on one of my recent visits!
Leang, I hope this information helps. If you have any other questions or need recommendations on the best snacks or shops at the resort, please visit again.
I would love to help!
See ya real soon,
Melissa
