Well, hey there, chère! Brenda, you will adore the quiet, authentic theming of Port Orleans French Quarter! It’s almost like Tiana and Ray the firefly are around the corner! But oh, the detail-oriented characters adorning Disney’s Art of Animation are so amazing… I see why you are having trouble!
I see that your kids are a bit older, and may not be into taking naps, which is one of my primary recommendations for
Disney's Art of Animation Resort. Those family suites (Nemo, Lion King and Cars) sleep 6, boasting a separate bedroom with 2 full baths, which makes spreading out during family trips much easier. Your family may adore the many themed pools (you can hear Mr. Manta Ray singing and Dory calling for her friends UNDERWATER in the Nemo pool area) and the spacious food court area. The bus stop is large with regular bus service. If you want to hear more about
Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter, just imagine an alligator band leading to a large playground and a gorgeous Mardi Gras pool. Beignets are available for breakfast and Mr. Arneil the Greeter is waiting for your krewe dressed in first line style. The resort one of the smallest on property, so your family can walk the stone-lined streets in peace before you bustle out for your busy day. The rooms are more standard in size, sleeping 4 with 1 bathroom, and some rooms are adjoining.
Either way, both Walt Disney World Resorts will allow you to enjoy the amenities of staying on site, like complimentary transportation and MagicBand use. If I were making the decision, I would choose Disney’s Art of Animation so your family can stretch out. If I can help you decide on anything else for your trip, please let me know. Me and Ray will be lighting the way! ~ Lindsey P.
