I am planning on travelling to Disney October 17 - 24. The things I really want to do are Fantasmic, Jedi training and Mickey's Halloween. How would be best to do this if I don't get park hoppers.

    Hi Shelley!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You are fortunate to have a nice long vacation that will give you plenty of time to enjoy many of the fun things to do at Walt Disney World Resort. My family often chooses to bypass the Park Hopper Option on our longer trips when we have time to spend full days at all four theme parks. Based on your trip, you will have five full park days. I would recommend planning to spend a full day in each of the theme parks so you can experience the atmosphere, attractions and entertainment that each park has to offer. Both Fantasmic!, a fantastic nighttime show that everyone in my family loves to see, and Jedi Training Academy, where your little Padawan will learn the ways of The Force, are located in Disney's Hollywood Studios. So definitely include that park in your itinerary!

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a fantastic way to celebrate Halloween! It is a separately ticketed event that will allow you admission to Magic Kingdom starting at 4:00 p.m. During our family's trip this year, we plan on spending the morning of the party enjoying breakfast at our hotel, our hotel's pool and some shopping before we experience all of the tricks and treats at Magic Kingdom using our party ticket. This way, we will not have to use a regular theme park ticket that day in addition to our party ticket. Since two of your "must-do's" are at Disney's Hollywood Studios, you could also use that time to revisit your favorites at that park.
