Hi, Alexandria!
A family vacation can be great for creating lasting memories! How nice you get to travel with your uncle and his kids.
The first thing you want your uncle to do is to check with his doctor for any limitations he might have regarding walking, standing, etc. There are
wheelchairs for rent right at the parks, or you can rent ECV's from local rental companies if you want an ECV for your entire stay. Stop by guest services if you feel he will need a GAC (Guest Assistance Card.)
There are delightful movies like PhilharMagic in Magic Kingdom and great shows where you just sit back and relax, like Hall of Presidents, also in Magic Kingdom. There are easy load attractions like Spaceship Earth in Epcot, and energetic fast-paced shows like Lights Motor Action in Hollywood Studios. Avoid attractions that have a lot of movement like Toy Story Mania, Test Track or any of the roller coasters.
Other attractions that you can all enjoy together might be Pirates of the Caribbean, Journey Into Imagination, any of the movies or shows like Enchanted Tiki Room. Read all warnings on posted signs and ask cast members if you are concerned about the movement of an attraction.
Some great times will be had watching parades, fireworks, and enjoying character dining. Plan ahead with your meals and break times so your uncle does not get over tired (or your 2 year old!) Advance Dining Reservations can be made
online or by calling (407)WDW-DINE.
Wishing all of you a magical Walt Disney World vacation!
