I am planning to travel to WDW from 06/13 to 06/15 and stay at Holiday Inn Orlando. I am travelling with my kids aged 4 and 8. I am not clear on the shuttle arrangement from hotel to theme parks. Is it a direct shuttle and what is the frequency?

Hi Ankit! Welcome to planDisney! It's great to have you stop by!

I'm excited to hear about your upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! I'm sure your little ones cannot wait until June arrives and you are on-site to experience the magic of it all!

The Holiday Inn Orlando is a great choice to stay at during your trip. It's conveniently located near Disney Springs and is only a short walk to the numerous shopping, dining, and entertainment options found there. According to the hotel website, they currently offer hourly shuttles to all four theme parks. It does mention that reservations are required, so I would speak to the front desk upon arrival or call the hotel ahead of time to gather additional information. For three of the theme parks, the shuttle will drop you off close to the entrance. For the Magic Kingdom, the shuttle will take you to the Ticket and Transportation Center. From here, you'll need to hop on the monorail or ferry boat to get to the entrance of the park. It helps add a little extra Disney fun to your travels.

Your other option to travel to the parks will be to use a ride-share service. There are a few companies that are frequently in the area and will take you from your hotel to the parks. Again, when arriving at the Magic Kingdom via a ride-share service, you'll get dropped off at the Ticket and Transportation Center.

One of the perks of staying at the Holiday Inn Orlando is having access to Early Theme Park Entry each day. This benefit is only allowed for Guests staying in a Disney Resorts Hotel or other select hotels. Essentially, you will be able to enter the park 30 minutes before the park officially opens. This will give you a head start on the rest of the Guests and allow you to ride some attractions with minimal wait times!

Ankit, I hope this information helps you plan for your stay! Stop back and see us again at planDisney!

    See ya real soon!
