    Hello! I am planning to travel to Walt Disney World in April, and I was planning on bringing along a Mickey hat I received on my last trip. Would I be able to bring it in to get embroidered, or would I have to purchase a new hat inside of the shop? Thanks!

    Thank you for dropping by planDisney with your question. I actually purchased a bright yellow Mickey Mouse cap on our most recent trip to help my husband spot me in the holiday crowds, and adding personalization was the perfect finishing touch on the purchase. 

    Unfortunately, Cast Members are unable to embroider previous purchases. When submitting your purchase for embroidery, Cast Members will need to verify the purchase by viewing a same-day receipt. While I'm sure this is not the answer you were looking for, perhaps you can use this as an excuse to pick out a new hat for yourself. I personally feel that there is no such thing as owning too many Disney hats or mouse ears when there are so many wonderful options available. In fact, wearing one of my many Mickey Mouse hats at home is one of my favorite ways to bring a bit of the magic from Walt Disney World Resort into my daily life.  

    Bonus Tip: Mickey Mouse always loves to meet Mouseketeers sporting his likeness, so be sure to stop by in your hat to say hello if your schedule allows.
