Planning to travel to Disneyland for the very first time in 2021 and wanting to stay at all three resorts on property. Does Disney provide luggage services where they will take our luggage from one resort and move it to another resort for the next night?

    Welcome Home Alexandra!

And an even bigger welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I’m so excited that you’ll be paying us a visit down here in sunny Southern California! Disneyland Park beams with nostalgia and you’ll be able to walk the very same streets that Walt Disney walked every morning before the park opened. I highly recommend you take the guided tour “Walk in Walt’s Disneyland Footsteps.” On the tour, you'll learn about what inspired Walt and the challenges he faced in creating such a magical place. You’ll get a behind the scenes look at places and things only available on this tour.

When I visit Walt Disney World, we always do a split stay! Staying at different resorts on one trip makes it feel like several vacations in one! I see you’re bringing that split stay mentality down here to the Disneyland Resort and I’m all for it! Each one of the 3 hotels bring a different experience for you to enjoy! Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel will give you that California beachfront feel with fun seaside themed rooms! The Disneyland Hotel has that classic Disneyland feel with three towers each designed after one of the three original lands at Disneyland Park. This hotel exudes Walt Disney and has the best pool on property. Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is my favorite out of the three and is also my Disney Vacation Club home resort! You’ll enjoy craftsman style elegance and some of the best food on property. Think of it as the Disney’s Wilderness Lodge of the west with more of an upscale feel.

At the Disneyland Resort, they don’t provide luggage services for your bags from resort to resort. The reason being is that all three of the resorts are within walking distance to each other. You will be pleasantly surprised that you can walk from all three hotels to both of the theme parks. Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa even has its own entrance into Disney California Adventure Park! No other hotel in the US has that. To be the most efficient in walking your luggage over, I would plan my stay in the proximity and walking paths of the resorts. I would stay at the Disneyland Hotel first, then Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel followed by Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. You could also reverse that order but I would stick to Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel in the middle to be the most efficient. You are looking at maybe a 5 minute walk between each of them in that order or reversed. Bell Services will be happy to hold your bags until your room is ready and you can drop them off in the morning on your way to the parks.

Well Alexandra, I hope this information helps you plan your stay. If anything else comes up please come back and let us know!

Remember, always believe in the Magic!
