Is there a planning tool available in which I can add all of the parks, attractions and dining locations we plan to visit during our stay at Disney. Would the tool be able to provide an itinerary that makes best use of our time?

    Hey there, Luella!

Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney, where we share insights and ideas from our own Disney destination experiences to help you plan your Disney vacation.

Looking for a planning tool for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation? Let me share three words with you: My Disney Experience. Better yet, let me share five words with you: My Disney Experience mobile app.

The My Disney Experience mobile app can be your convenient go-to tool for making, managing, and sharing all your plans. For example, you can buy theme park tickets through the app, and they will display in the Tickets and Passes area of the app. When you make your required theme park reservations through the Disney Park Pass system, you'll see these reservations displayed in the My Plans area of the app. Your My Plans area will also show you any additional plans you've made such as dining reservations. These features make your Daily Itinerary super easy to check throughout your day.

There are many features to love in the My Disney Experience mobile app, and one of them is the Family & Friends List in the My Profile area. With the Family & Friends feature, you can add Guests who are visiting Walt Disney World Resort with you, and you can view, share, and manage your plans together.

Want to keep track of the attractions you plan to experience? You can use My Disney Experience online, go to the My Plans area, and use the "Add More Plans" and "Notes" feature in your Daily Itinerary. This lets you create a note that will display in your My Plans in the My Disney Experience mobile app.

The My Disney Experience mobile app also gives you step-by-step directions to help you navigate all around Walt Disney World Resort. Simply tap on the map pin icon to display the interactive map and select a category to display choices on a map or in a list. When you tap the selection you're looking for, you'll see you can get directions and find that selection on the map.

While the My Disney Experience mobile app itself would not offer up a pre-selected touring itinerary, it will give you access to content to help you learn more about all you can experience.

I also highly recommend visiting the planDisney Video Library to see planDisney Panelists share their tips and recommendations for how to make the most of your visit. You might also be interested in following planDisney on social media to see first-hand tips from planDisney Panelists.

Luella, here's wishing you lots of fun with your Walt Disney World Resort plans. Enjoy all the magic!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
