I am SO excited to hear that you’re planning a first-time trip to Disney World! You and your party are going to have the most magical time together! Please know that we, the panelists at planDisney, are always happy to answer any questions you might have about planning, budgeting, traveling, dining, entertainment, magical extras, overall tips, or anything else that may come up while you’re planning. You’re not alone, we’re always here, and we want to make sure that you have a memorable time with your loved ones.
I highly recommend that your spouse makes their own My Disney Experience Account! That is a great place to start a Disney vacation. This will be easiest if they download the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. I’ll list below the steps you need to take in order to link your accounts together so that you can share plans!
-Log in to your My Disney Experience Mobile App, and have your spouse do the same
-Both of you select the “☰” symbol at the bottom righthand corner of your screen
-Both of you scroll down under “Account” and select “Profile”
-One of you select “Family & Friends List” then scroll to the bottom of that page and select “+ Add a Guest” then select “Scan their linking code”
-The other person will select “Show My Linking Code” at the bottom of the “My Profile” page
-From there you’ll scan the code and accept the request to link accounts
Once you’re linked, you and your spouse will be able to see each other’s plans, and you’ll be able to manage plans for each other!
Keep your eye on the
Disney Starlight page, Vicky, as there is a new Nighttime Parade coming to Magic Kingdom that you might be able to experience later this year! I really hope it’s offered while you’re visiting!
