Planning our third trip Oct.31 - Nov.13, Is it possible to see both mnsshp AND mvmcp ?. We have done both and are having trouble choosing one over the other.

    Hi Amanda,

You are truly a lady after my own heart trying to fit in as much in one trip as possible!  Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP) and Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) are two of my all time favorite events at the Magic Kingdom!

Disney has not yet announced the 2011 MNSSHP or MVMCP dates. The 2010 MVMCP dates began on November 8, 2010 so one would guess (I don't know for sure) that the dates will begin early November this year as well. Last year the Disney Parks Blog announced the 2010 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party & Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party dates on May 21, 2010. Hopefully we'll find out around that time this year too.

You may be able to pull this off. Tickets for MNSSHP on October 31st typically sell out really fast because it is an awesome place to be on Halloween. I'd purchase those tickets as soon as they go on-sale.  Since you are staying until Nov 13th, there may be a MVMCP date or two before you leave.

Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog regarding the official dates as they usually make announcements there. If you are on twitter, follow @DisneyParks and @WaltDisneyWorld. If you're on Facebook, keep an eye on the official Disney World Facebook page. You are also more than welcome to check back with us in a couple of months.

Wishing you many magical memories :-) Allison
